Michael Jackson 2001 Invincible Album – Make it VISIBLE

I'm a Michael Jackson fan. I mourned for him for two years to the point that I forgot all about my husband's birthday which falls on the same day Michael died. That was quite a wake up call. Since then, I try not to dwell on it anymore. Michael Jackson is now in a better place and more often than not, I celebrate his life rather than mourn for his devastating death.

Anyway, I got hold of this press release which I'd like to share here on my blog. To Michael Jackson fans out there, here's something you can do to help keep supporting Michael and his music...

Michael Jackson - Are You Really Dead?

This is a repost from The Sexy Nomad:

It's been a year since that fateful day when the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was announced dead, and I still can't believe it. I rarely, if at all, feel this way about a performer. I'm not even a geek kind of MJ fan who knows all the little trivia about his life. I just love the man that he was and the legacy he left behind. It's just that simple. Yes, I love the Jonas brothers, Zac Efron, Charice Pempengco and I did use to idolize Britney Spears and The Hanson. But should any of them die right now, I won't be as terribly devastated (but please don't).

My heart is just filled with sadness as I write this... tears are now welling from my eyes and I can't see what I'm typing... *where's my tissue?*

Anyway, I'm probably being overly dramatic here. But I know I'm not alone in this feeling. I wish Michael Jackson's soul, his kids, his family and his fans all over the world, peace and happiness; because I know despite all the controversies that surrounded MJ's public life, he was still one of the best people to have lived on this planet.

Long live (in the afterlife) the King of Pop!

I love you, Michael.

Here's a video I taped of myself when Michael died a year ago. I know it's embarrassing but I'm just being true to my feelings.

Michael Jackson and His Trust

File photo of Michael Jackson in Monte Carlo

It seems like yesterday when I first heard the news that Michael Jackson is dead. It still makes me sad, and sometimes even makes me cry especially when I'm hormonal. I still can't believe he's gone... But I'm happy to report that the will and trust he left his three adorable children -- Prince, Paris and Blanket -- seems very reasonable since he's always been the protective father to his kids when he was still alive.

Michael Jackson definitely learned his lesson when it comes to finances and even from beyond, he wants to teach his kids not to become victims of consumerism which caused Michael Jackson to topple in the brink of bankruptcy.

The trust states that his kids will get 40% of his estate while Katherine Jackson will get to use the other 40% during her lifetime. When she dies, the kids will get her share. The remaining 20% will go to charity.

The most interesting part of the trust is this: Until the kids turn 30, that's the only time they can get some semblance of control over their money. Until then, they will only get an income, like an allowance, which is determined soley by the trustee. When Paris, Prince and Blanket each turns 30, the trustees would have to give them 1/3 of their share outright. When they reach 35, they get 1/2 of their share outright. When they turn 40, they will get the remainder of their share outright.

Lucky kids, huh?

As for Michael, we love you and we miss you. Rest in peace, MJ!
