Liquid Pool Lounge Bar @ Manila Ocean Park

We were partying at Liquid Pool Lounge Bar at Manila Ocean Park last night and it was so much fun! Didn't I promise myself on my birthday weekend that we' go back there at night to try their Liquid pool bar? We've already done the Aquanaut adventure; we've already witnessed the Dancing of the Sea Fairies, we've already seen the Penguin Exhibit... all at Manila Ocean Park. So now, it's time to party.  

You can come in your casual summer wear or club attire if you wish. They have a big locker area where you can shower and change clothes should you decide to take a dip in the pool. 

So that's what we did. I wore some kind of reggae ensemble thinking that if this Liquid gimmick doesn't work out (since roads were being closed for the Bourne Ultimatum shooting), we can always head to 70's Bistro in Quezon City to watch Brownman Revival play. After more than an hour of going around Manila's alternate routes, we finally parked at Manila Ocean Park. 

Post Halloween Costume Review

The Halloween Party we had last weekend truly made my most favorite holiday more fun as compared to last year when I celebrated it with just my hubby and our tenant. I was afraid that I may not be able to fit into my chosen costume but by doing some fat burning workout and trying some fat burning foods, I'm thankful that I was able to fit into my witch attire. I'm also thankful to our friends who made it especially to those who came in their Halloween costumes. We may not be kids anymore but it's always nice to be young at heart. (^_^)

My Halloween Getup

I have a standard set of costumes that I wear every Halloween. I usually go for the Elvira / vampire/ witch/ ghastly Halloween look. There was this year though that I made up a totally different costume --- the pirate look. This year, the only thing that I added were my dark angel wings and mask. I think I was able to pull it off.

Anyway, take a peek at my Halloween look for 2010.It makes me wonder where did all my Greenwich pizza go. LOL.

Summer Wear, Beach Fashion & Party Dresses - My Birthday Loot

I turned 32 last Feb. 18, 2010. But deep inside I still feel like the same Jen I used to be when I was 21 years old --- young, carefree, hopeful, and grateful about life. Maybe I'm just a bit wiser now when it comes to stuff that really matters (like finding my bliss, giving more, paying for a house, car, insurance and other big ticket stuff). So when it comes to money, I don't care much about the brands of stuff I buy especially if it's just clothes and fashion accessories, but as long as I'm comfy & they make me look pretty, as long as the material can withstand the test of time, as long as it's within my budget and means, I go all out for it! So, on my birthday, aside from spending it with my family in Subic doing frightening and life-conquering stunts at TREETOP ADVENTURE, I also spent it with my hubby shopping!!! Here they are:

Jen Gaga Over Leggings

I must have bought around 10 pairs of leggings at Timesquare in Kuala Lumpur when I went there last January 6-8, 2010 so it's all I wear every time I have the chance. They're so comfortable and light and reminds me of my childhood days in the 80's and teendom in the 90's. For me, they have so many uses they could never run out of style. Haylaveeeet!

Casual Getup on A Busy Day

This was my getup when I was running around the Metro taking care of one business after a another, including a blogging event. Thank God for my Crocs, I didn't mind walking several kilometers around Ortigas, from Meralco Ave. to Emerlad Ave. to Robinson's and back. Whew!

Something pretty exciting is happening on July 1, 2009 at 10:30 PM. QTV is featuring this blog, FashionKo.i.ph!!! Other fashion bloggers will be featured as well and I can't wait to see it! For those who don't know, I’ve been on TV as a talent before on numerous occasions but this one’s different. There was no script and there was no character to play. It’s all ME!!! I’m pretty nervous and excited at the same time. I’m not gonna tell you to watch me but if you wanna see me babbling the rest of the interview away, well, I can’t stop you either. You may judge me but please try not to be harsh. I’m a complete virgin at this. Teehee.

Fashionable Black Ensemble

Blame it to my growing physique, I needed to wear another black top last weekend to hide away my unnecessary curves. At least, I made it look a bit sexy. The black racer back but "cleavagy" top (my own term) belong to my classic top collection I bought from year 2005. It's that vintage! I paired it with a funky purple & black striped mini skirt (It was a MIDI skirt before I cut it off) I bought from Karimadon year 2005 too which I only wore once before. I guess my MANGO high heeled boots completed the look. I donned my amethyst jewelry set & black GUESS watch and voila! It pretty much looked alright. Yay! Another party outfit!

Fashion Party Outfits

Itis my personal campaign this year to refrain from buying new party clothes and accessories. Money is better spent somewhere else like maybe putting up our own business, investing in stocks or life insurance or simply keeping them in our own bank account, don't you think? However, on occasions when we do need to hang loose and party, it's still nice to look our best, right? So what I did was look for those classic pieces that I haven't worn in a long while, doll them up with nice shoes, bags & jewelry hidden somewhere at the back of my closet and voila! We are ready to party!!!!
