After that devastating news about Whitney Houston's death yesterday, I got some good news in the mail today. I received a package from Angelina Jolie's press people in California, U.S.A. It is the poster for her directorial movie debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey. On January 12 this year, this blog hosted a LIVE Q&A web conference with Angelina Jolie discussing her movie. As a token of thanks, this movie poster was promised to me and one of my commentators. I hope Florencio Jusay, the chosen commentator, also got his.

I Hate Henry Cavill for Superman

I am an extreme kind of person. For me, it's usually black or white, hot or cold. No in between. So it would seem to a casual observer that I am usually apathetic about A LOT of THINGS in this world which further adds to my belief that I am a weird person because how come I view the world so differently from most people and how come I don't care about a lot of things that other people care about like gossip, crab mentality, fame, wealth at the expense of dignity, etc... etc...

Suri Cruise - Not a Baby Anymore

I swear, Suri Cruise is getting prettier and prettier. And she's so big now! I can already picture her in her teens... oh so pretty. She truly has her parents' (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes) genes.

Suri Cruise visited her mom Katie on the set of Jack and Jill yesterday, October 20, Wednesday, located in West Hollywood, California. She really looks so big now. When she was a baby, didn't she look more like Tom Cruise? And now that she's four years old, she kind of looks more like her mom Katie. Lucky kid!

How I wish in my next life, I get to be born like her --- a famous celeb's baby! Hehehe.

Anyway, Jack and Jill is a new comedy film which also starts Al Pacino and Adam Sandler.

As for Suri's dad, Tom, he's in Prague working on his new movie Mission Impossible IV.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer

I can't wait for November 19! I have been watching Harry Potter 1-6 over and over and over again non-stop since God knows when. I do it every lunch time at work. I just can't get enough of it! I'm also almost done with the 7th book. I only get to read it during my spare time which is not a lot considering that I work almost 24/7, and I really want to be a witch! Go figure! LOL!

Anyhoo, when I chanced upon this trailer on Youtube, I got goosebumps which made me all the more excited! I'm sure I'll be super "bitin" after they show Part 1 of Deathly Hallows. After all, the first half of the book is all about the "camping trip" Harry, Ron and Hermione took. Nevertheless, I expect amazing action sequences and I couldn't wait to see the movie interpretation. I hope it's going to be as mesmerizing and spellbinding as the first 6 Harry Potter installations, such that, even if they're directed by different people, all movies still managed to bring out what the book is all about.

For now, I shall contend myself with this movie preview of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I. Another reason to look forward to Halloween.

Kristen Stewart looked so stunning as she walked the red carpet of their movie premiere, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, wearing a beautiful black Marchesa embroidered dress with sculpted satin ruffles on Thursday, June 17, held in Italy at Auditorium Conciliazione.


This popular 20-year-old Twi-actress finished off her whole look with a pair of Roger Viver sandals. Kristen was accompanied by her equally gorgeous co-star Taylor Lautner who wore Calvin Klein. So, where the heck was Edward?

Kinght and Day Premiere Features Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Cameron Diaz

On Wednesday, June 16, Knight and Day had its premiere at the Lope de Vega Theater in Seville, Spain.


Tom Cruise, wearing an Armani, of course attended the event, together with his wife Katie Holmes who donned head-to-foot Azzedine Alaia. The two looked stunning together!


Tom's co-star Cameron Diaz later joined him who had nothing but great things to say about Tom:

“Tom is super. He’s a special person. He’s passionate about making movies and passionate about his family,” Cam shared. “Those are the two most important things in his life, and he lives that. Working with Tom drove me to want to show up every day as driven and excited as he does.”
Cameron is this month's hot subject in Playboy Magazine.

The Smurfs are Here on 3D

The Smurfs are here!!! The first look at The Smurfs in 3-D will debut in New York City!!! I am such a fan of these cute, little blue creatures to the point that my friends back in college used to call me Smurfette, not that I went to school wearing blue, but because I was always this cute little vain girl, in my own little world, minding my own business. Haha! How time flies so fast and they're now back! Woohoo! I used to watch them all the time on channel 13. I'm glad they're hitting the big screens and on 3D at that! Wowoweee!

“Clumsy goes the wrong way into a forbidden grotto where a few other Smurfs follow,” director Raja Gosnell told USA Today. “Because it’s a blue moon, there’s a magical portal that transports them to Central Park.”

In the movie, once the smurfs hit NYC, they will be in by a couple (played by Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays) until such time that they can find their way home. Watch out for the debut of their trailer TODAY (June 17) US time on Yahoo! for their latest adventures.

Jessica Biel and the A-Team Photo Shoot in Paris

Even in jumpsuit, Jessica Biel still looks so hot and sexy.

On these series of photos (below), Jessica is being joined by co-stars Sharlto Copley, Liam Neeson, Quinton Jackson and Bradley Cooper for an A-Team photo call on Monday (June 14) in Paris, France.

I used to watch this TV hit series before when I was a kid all the time, together with Rip Tide, McGyver, and Night Rider. I hope to watch it soon! And I hope the movie is as good, or even better than from what I remember the series to be.

The big-screen version of the 1980s TV series A-Team opened to a soft $26 million over the weekend. The Karate Kid, starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, outperformed The A-Team, pulling in $56 million.

Megan Fox and Her 18-inch Waistline

Have you seen Megan Fox’s waistline lately? It was the talk of the town when the first few pictures of her walking around the Jonah Hex set wearing a corset popped up online.

“It’s small,” she told MTV. “We got it down to 18 inches. But in the action scenes, we loosened it up, because everyone was afraid I was going to pass out. At the end of the day when we would take it off, it would leave these deep grooves, these deep indents from the boning in the corset. I’d have it for the whole next day. The next 24 hours I’d be imprinted with the corset. It hurts your ribs!”

I wonder if Megan got to keep the corsets as souvenirs?

“Those were all actually vintage corsets that needed to go back, I couldn’t own them. Plus, they were all falling apart by the end of the movie. I beat them to hell.”

Jonah Hex is set to be released in cinemas on June 18.

Anna Paquin... Bisexual?

Anna Paquin, who plays the character of Sookie Stackhouse in HBO hit series True Blood, has announced that she is bisexual, and she did so in a speech she made in a PSA for gay advocacy organization True Colors First.

Yes! Indeed she is bisexual! She made her announcement to offer her part in the fight for equality. In the said event, she revealed:

"I'm not someone who endlessly talks about her personal life for no reason, but obviously, as someone who identifies as bisexual, those are issues I really care about — and frankly, I don't see why everyone doesn't care about them. So when I was asked to participate in that PSA, it was just an obvious, 'Well, of course I will.'

"It wasn't like it was a big secret. It was just a cause I cared about and privately supported, but not one that I had ever had an opportunity to speak out about in a way that would be useful. Obviously I know that one person's voice doesn't necessarily do that much, but I just wanted to do my bit."

She really is something, huh? Thoughts?

Zac Efron: Honored at Maui Film Festival

Zac Efron was spotted outside of his house in Los Angeles carrying two bags as he struts his way to a limo waiting for him. This happened on Wednesday (June 2). He might have been getting some of his stuff... toiletries perhaps? Or maybe just some clothes since he's now reportedly staying with his long time girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.


On Wednesday too, Vanessa was seen going out of a friend's house carrying some form of document. I wonder if she's drafting her marriage proposal to Zac... LOL!


On June 16 by the way, our hottie Charlie St.Cloud actor here will be going to Hawaii. He will be honored with the Shining Star Award at the Maui Film Festival. His work in Hollywood will be celebrated as well as what he's still about to accomplish in the movie business.

This 31-year-old ex-Grey's Anatomy actress just shared with Germany’s Gala magazine that she and husband Josh Kelley

“We would like to have a second child - adopted or biological. We’re not ruling it out. Just look at Haiti. They’re so many parentless children. It breaks my heart. I want to help."

Although, she also admitted that she can be a bit spontaneous sometimes.

“I often plunge into things and hope everything will be alright.”

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child according to news reports.

The 40 year old singing diva reportedly dropped out of her next movie gig to make sure that her pregnancy goes smoothly as planned. She was supposed to play a role in Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. (What a hilarious film title!)

Last month, Mariah and Nick renewed their vows in celebration of their 2nd wedding anniversary. How sweet!

Robert Pattinson Back on the Set

After the Memorial Weekend, Robert Pattinson reports back to work on Tuesday (June 1) as he is seen on the set of his new movie Water for Elephants located at Ventura County, California.

In this movie, the 24-year-old Twilight actor plays the role of a veterinary student whose parents were killed motivating him to join the traveling circus.

In this new film, Robert costars with Reese Witherspoon and Inglourious Basterds Christoph Waltz.The movie is set to be released in 2011.

Sex and the City 2 Tokyo Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and Kim Cattrall looked so fashion forward when they attended the Tokyo premiere of their hit movie Sex and the City 2 which was held at Roppongi Hills Arena in Japan, yesterday, June 1, Tuesday.

SJP donned a floral Vivienne Westwood dress and paired it with a Raven Kauffman “Harlow” belt.

Cynthia donned a custom Calvin Klein Collection midnight blue silk jacquard strapless dress.

Kristin wore mellow yellow in Jean Patou.
