I was so happy of my black and white attire last weekend. Unfortunately, it got rained on since I was feeling too proud to carry an umbrella during the Ako ang Simula Rock Concert held inside UST Open Grounds. Nevertheless, I didn't let the wet weather dampen my spirits.
- I was finally small enough to fit in it! The black, buttoned, haltered top has been with me since Peter and I were still sweethearts right after college. I think he was the one who even bought me this sexy top. It was year 2000 if I'm not mistaken. I only wore it a few times since then when I was still very skinny. I'm not that skinny anymore but at least the fabric and size already fit my torso that it stayed in shape the whole night. Before, every time I'd TRY to wear this particular black, buttoned, haltered top from YRYS, my tummy always gets exposed. Teehee.
- Another vintage item that I was wearing that night was my pair of 10+ year old Mango boots. They're made of very tough fabric that even when it got wet and muddy, my feet inside were still protected. I'd say this pair is one of my best buys EVER!
- I wasn't quite sure if I should bring my vintage and original Givenchy bag. It's the most expensive bag I ever owned but what the heck, we only live once so we might as well make every moment count!
I topped everything off with a black and white fedora hat my best friend Mer gave me 2 years ago, plus my metal rings and necklace with devil symbols I can't even comprehend (LOL) and voila! I hope next time I wear this ensemble, the heavens won't be pouring down rain anymore. Better yet, I should bring my own umbrella. (^_^)
