I really wonder what's so bad about being hounded by paparazzis. I think it's great! You get photographed everywhere, it pressures you to look good all the time (which is not a bad thing) and the whole world sees how fabulous you are and gets inspired with the wonderful things you do in your life that they end up following your lead (or at least try to do some good in their own respective lives too). So, last weekend, Peter and I simulated some paparazzi shots... just for kicks! It's fabulous!
Saturday...
The previous weekend, I've been caught wearing black. To think I was celebrating something very special then. It was just probably my mood and I wanted to look a bit slim. But this particular weekend, I think I may have lost a few pounds but I didn't want to feel too tight in my clothes. So I decided to wear these pretty little dresses. But since I was in a hurry and had no time to style my hair, I wore this cute lavender beret I bought in Baguio a couple of years back. I think I have berets in all possible colors! And I try to wear them as much as I can.
I always try to wear colors that would match. That day, the motif was purple, black and white. So I wore white sandals I bought in Atrium in Pasay last year, on that day I hated my job and my office shoes were killing my feet; and white Capiz earrings I bought in Boracay; black big shades ala Paris Hilton style from this posh boutique in SM Mega Mall (I forgot its name.. it's in Mega A, right side, 2nd flr, right after the escalator); purple Nike watch I bought 3 Christmases ago, purple glass rings from Hong Kong, beret and bag (a fake Gucci I bought in year 2001 which is still looking very much new...hurray to durable fakes!)
Sunday...
The next day, I still couldn't decide what to wear and I had no time to fix my hair. So again, I donned my very sexy little dress (both dressses, by the way, were from Get Laud! They're around P650 each and feels great!), put on my matching beret, used my brand new Liz Claiborne bag (a birthday gift from Jana), my CK watch from Hong Kong (a gift from an old dear friend who is now living in London, Cherry), bronze bangles from Singapore during our trip in 2005; my matching glass and bone rings I bought from Bohemian Nation last week, my old capiz earrings from the first time we went to Boracay in 2004, a necklace made of quartz that I myself made and my brown slim Havaianas. I think I looked pretty gorgeous, don't you think?
If only I was a celebrity and real paparazzis were after me. I don't think they'd be disapppointed.
:-)
