Next week, Canadian reggae-pop breakout band MAGIC! will be coming to Manila for the very first time! MAGIC! will be performing at the Newport Performing Arts Theater (of Resorts World Manila) on October 22, 2014 (Wednesday), singing their worldwide smash hit “Rude”, plus follow up singles “Don’t Kill The Magic”, “Let Your Hair Down” and more! MAGIC!’s music distills a gentle Caribbean flavor with arena-size bombast sound that is driven by its expansive approach to songwriting and a strong musical chemistry. Nasri (lead singer) and Mark Pelli (guitar) deliver elements of reggae with a pop and rock vibe; while Ben Spivak (bass) and Alex Tanas (drums) inject the rock attitude to create an intoxicating musical experience.

Cirque MOTHER AFRICA Live in Manila

Audiences in Manila are set to be dazzled by Cirque Mother (CircusMama) Africa when it rolls into town on April 19th – 22nd at Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila presented by Establish Events in cooperation with Media Central. Philippine audiences are familiar with Cirque Du Soleil but this time, they will be challenged and mesmerized by the sights and sounds of Africa. This innovative two hour show, which combines African music, dance and performance, pulsates with the heartbeat of Africa and the combined talents of 40 artists from nine African countries, including Ethiopia, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Benin, Zimbabwe, and Guinea. Although the artists come from all parts of the African continent, on stage, they fuse into a single family whose cheerfulness and passion immediately capture the audience. And they are versatile performers!

KAOS Presscon Fashion

I recently attended a press conference for the launch of KAOS at Newport Performing Arts Theater located inside Resorts World Manila. I didn't really know what to wear at press cons. I don't think I ever attended one because of my hectic schedule at work but for KAOS, which features both international and homegrown talents, and which I love so much even if I've just seen its preview, I went all the way.
