My Funky Bowling Outfit ... NOT!

I was feeling girly that particular evening that I didn't really play in the funky bowling game hosted by the SM Bowling Center at Mall of Asia. I guess I just didn't want to take off my nice silver pumps or ruin my new ruffled blouse by lying on the floor and doing all sorts of funky bowling stunts. That or I was just really having raging hormones due to my period. Teehee.

Peter Pan Attire?

I was laughing out loud when a high school classmate ofm ine commented on facebook that my getup resembles that of Peter Pan's. Hahahahahahaha!!! OMG! She's so right! The color of my blouse, my tights, even the shoes sans the pointy toes... they all look so elfy. LOL! All I need now is Tinkerbell nearby and a little pointy green hat and indeed, I'd be the female version of this mischievous Disney character. Hahahhahahahahaha!!!!

Sorry, can't help laughing there. It doesn't look so bad though. It was comfy and the fabric of my top felt nice. I actually love it. It's one of those blouses I have on my Sexy Nomad Apparel Favcebook Page. Thank God for this fabulous blouse, I was able to eat all the dishes served at Focaccia that evening without worrying about my figure, and that's all that mattered then, Peter Pan getup or not. ^_^

My Off-the-Shoulder Garterized Blouses

I gain weight every time the rainy season comes in. This is because as the humidity rises, my appetite for sweets like ice cream, cake and chocolates grows bigger too. Plus, the weather is too cozy for sleeping in and doing some light reading that I rarely exercise too. It's a good thing then that I have these fabulous and comfortable blouses that can hide my not-so-attractive body parts while still looking stylish and trendy.

So see? When looking and feeling fab, you don't need to show skin all the time. It's a matter of hiding the flaws, standing tall (even if you're not... like me) and being comfortable in your own getup. ^_^

Michael Jackson - Are You Really Dead?

It's been a year since that fateful day when the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was announced dead, and I still can't believe it. I rarely, if at all, feel this way about a performer. I'm not even a geek kind of MJ fan who knows all the little trivia about his life. I just love the man that he was and the legacy he left behind. It's just that simple. Yes, I love the Jonas brothers, Zac Efron, Charice Pempengco and I did use to idolize Britney Spears and The Hanson. But should any of them die right now, I won't be as terribly devastated (but please don't).

My heart is just filled with sadness as I write this... tears are now welling from my eyes and I can't see what I'm typing... *where's my tissue?*

Anyway, I'm probably being overly dramatic here. But I know I'm not alone in this feeling. I wish Michael Jackson's soul, his kids, his family and his fans all over the world, peace and happiness; because I know despite all the controversies that surrounded MJ's public life, he was still one of the best people to have lived on this planet.

Long live (in the afterlife) the King of Pop!
