My Teeny Bopper Getup

First and foremost, I have no illusions of being super young. But sometimes, it's nice to be able to pull off an attire and have younger people believe that I'm the same age as them. Hihihi! Okay, seriously, that wasn't my plan at all. I just wanted to stop wearing my usual A-line and tube dresses that day coz I don't like it when people ask me if I'm pregnant just because those dresses make me look like one (or I'm getting fat)

Not a Reggae Attire

I don't think I ever wore a proper reggae attire whenever I went to see Brownman Revival play and I'm not about to start now. Going out of the house is a huge deal for me (being cooped up at home most of the time if I'm not traveling) so I make the most of it by dressing the way I like or depending on my mood.

Hot Pink Dress & Chain Boots

Remember those pairs of shoes I bought from People are People back in February? Well, I had the chance to wear one of them for the first time (which reminds me, I should go out some more so I can baptize my other pairs of shoes).

KAOS Presscon Fashion

Above: To quote Jeman Bunyi Villanueva, co-blogger, before having this photo taken: "Fashion Week ba?" ^_^

I recently attended a press conference for the launch of KAOS at Newport Performing Arts Theater located inside Resorts World Manila. I didn't really know what to wear at press cons. I don't think I ever attended one because of my hectic schedule at work but for KAOS, which features both international and homegrown talents, and which I love so much even if I've just seen its preview, I went all the way.

My Resorts World Manila Getup

I've had a bad case of "I've got nothing to wear!" that evening Peter and I went to Resorts World Manila for the launch of Grand Fiesta Manila 2010 and Grand Fiesta Run 2010. I have numerous attires in mind but nothing fitted me well! Huhuhu. This calls for more exercise and less intake of carbs, which was why I didn't eat a lot even if there were a lot of delicious Chinese food being served at Passion Restaurant that evening. And like I always tell myself, when I feel fat, just wear black. I have this loose black butterfly blouse, which has been a part of my clothes collection before for the Sexy Nomad Apparel, which I've been saving for occasions like this. It's still a bit loose for my frame but at least, it made me feel not too fat. ^_^ I wore it with my old jeans, silver sandals & pearls and voila --- I may have looked simple but I think I also looked chic & fab. ^_^

My Bubble Tea Attire

It's seldom that I get to plan what to wear on the go. Most of the time, it takes me a whole day to contemplate about what to wear to a certain event. But when I went to Bubble Tea, for some reason, I just happen to pick up the perfect clothes in my closet. Prior to going to Bubble Tea in Tomas Morato, I have been awake then for 24 hours, my work was up til my neck and I had no time to prepare. I just took a quick bath, dried myself and picked the first set of clothes that I saw. Voila --- my whole Bubble Tea getup wasn't so bad after all. Even if I'm going to their farthest branch from where I live (they also have a branch in SM Megamall, SM North Edsa and a new one will open next month in Wilson street, Greenhills), my getup was comfortable enough for commuting.

Shopping Getup

On weekends when my hubby and I were not out of town or beach bumming somewhere, I found myself going to the mall and shopping instead. I know, I know... I should really stop this habit soon. It's killing my finances. Teehee. But anyway, since it's already been done, I might as well enjoy the process, right? I usually wear flats these days, but since I bought those Janilyn shoes, I might as well use them. So for two consecutive Saturdays (March 13 and March 19), I wore my black and burgundy JUAN pairs by JANILYN. Here's the rest of my getup:

Haltered frilled top by Details Trading

Tan leggings from Kuala Lumpur

Coach sling bag

Guess watch

Accessories from Boracay and Cebu

Shopping at Cubao Expo

On March 7, 2010, Sunday, I went to Cubao Expo for the 2nd time to see what the fuss is about. It's been ages since I last bought ukay-ukay items (I used to buy in Baguio, Tagyatay and QC). For one, I thought I already stopped buying something that's already been used, and two, I just didn't feel the need to go. But since it's a lazy summer day and the tiangge in Eastwood suddenly disapperaed (Ninette and I were supposed to buy more fur shoes and beach wear), we opted to check out Cubao Expo instead.

This was the same day I bought all my 5 pairs of Janilyn shoes.

My FashionKo Blog on QTV

Something pretty exciting is happening on July 1, 2009 at 10:30 PM. QTV is featuring this blog, FashionKo.i.ph!!! Other fashion bloggers will be featured as well and I can't wait to see it! For those who don't know, I’ve been on TV as a talent before on numerous occasions but this one’s different. There was no script and there was no character to play. It’s all ME!!! I’m pretty nervous and excited at the same time. I’m not gonna tell you to watch me but if you wanna see me babbling the rest of the interview away, well, I can’t stop you either. You may judge me but please try not to be harsh. I’m a complete virgin at this. Teehee.

Victoria's Secret Corset

I attended the UNO party and I had to commute from home to the venue at LAX Night Club, San Miguel by the Bay, Mall of Asia. I didn't want to be parading down the street wearing my Victoria's Secret corset so I donned my black suede trench coat over it.
