Yellow Ballerina Shoes

I finally got to wear my yellow ballerina shoes! It was a toss between pairing my shoes with a yellow blouse or bag or letting my shoes become the main accessory or highlight of my getup. I chose the latter coz it made my whole outfit shine! I think that's the trick in mixing and matching apparel. If it makes you "glow" and you feel comfy and beautiful in it, then go! The world is your runway. Here it is...

I paired it up with an old zebra print tube top from Ever Gotesco Dept. Store I bought in 2003, a black shrug I got from an ukay-ukay shop in 2002, black belt, from SM, my huge pearly necklace from YRYS, striped shorts from a flea market, my cute black purse from Landmark, my white Guess watch and my yellow and white ring from Boracay. I think it looks nice! ^_^ Even Peter loved it! Hihihi.

My ballerina shoes (as well as the green ones I posted before) are branded as "Crystal" and are made in Korea (or so their boxes say). I bought them on sale at a flea market; buy one take one for only Php500! I'm usually skeptical with products priced so low. But as soon as I scrutinized the quality of the canvas and tried them on, I knew they were perfect on my feet. True enough, it was one of the most comfy and cutie shoes I got to wear (unlike this classic pair of black Hush Puppies I have that Peter bought for me for Php3,000 at SM Dept. Store. It made my feet bleed that I never got to wear it since. It's still there, inside my shoe cabinet, gathering dust, tsk, tsk. Maybe I'll try that pair on again one day...)

Oh and guess what? Even my lingerie client, Jules, perhaps got interested in my getup that she requested a photo op of the two of us. Then I noticed that she was also wearing an interesting outfit --- her blouse was also black and white and even her sneakers were yellow. What a coincidence! So I told her, I'll feature both of us on my fashion blog! Teehee. ^_^
