Of all the celebrities that I watch and follow, it's Vanessa Hudgens' sense of style that I can relate to most. Just like me, I noticed that she's also into Boho chic look with a bit of modern flair.
The modern Bohemian look usually entails pieces such as tunics, craftans, ankle-length embroidered dresses, tiered peasant skirts, weathered jeans plus ethnic-inspired accessories, leather belts, bangles and over-sized sunglasses. These are pieces that Vanessa likes wearing often.
Modern Boho Chic fashion was at its height in 2004-2005 when Sienna Miller, the Olsen twins and Nicole Richie began sporting Bohemian inspired looks. That was also the same time when I loved those celebrities more. They just looked so good in their Boho outfits.
Although I remember first experiencing it in the nineties when I would usually wear flat boots with ankle-length tiered peasant skirts and lots and lots of bangles and other native accessories. And in 2008, I remember always going out wearing a Boho chic look.
Even until today, the Boho Chic look, which first became popular in the 1960's, hasn't really died. It keeps resurfacing again and again and who can blame this trend? Wearing Bohemian getup is so comfy but still sexy.
I should know... it's my most favorite style and fashion trend of all time. ^_^
