Fashion Party Outfits

Itis my personal campaign this year to refrain from buying new party clothes and accessories. Money is better spent somewhere else like maybe putting up our own business, investing in stocks or life insurance or simply keeping them in our own bank account, don't you think? However, on occasions when we do need to hang loose and party, it's still nice to look our best, right? So what I did was look for those classic pieces that I haven't worn in a long while, doll them up with nice shoes, bags & jewelry hidden somewhere at the back of my closet and voila! We are ready to party!!!!

I wore my classic black cocktail dress I got from Get Laud 2 years ago. I matched it up with my silver jewelry from Filigrenasia, silver clutch bag from SM, and high heeled, open-toed sandals from Centropell (which I got as one of the freebies during my stint as one of the contestants fro Ms. GSIS year 2004. Yes, they're pretty sturdy).

That's me on the right. I wore my classic black haltered top with gold glitter, old jeans from Her Bench, mary jane 4-inch heels from People are People, little black bag from Landmark and my dark amethyst jewelry set I bought from Bohemian Nation here in Alabang.

Early that same afternoon, I donned my grey poncho I bought from Baguio over my black top. Instead of the mary jane pumps, I wore my flip flops from Toeberries instead.

I was feeling the reggae/beach vibe this particular night. So I wore one of my many classic haltered tops, bohemian skirt and matched them up with shelled accessories from Boracay.

I wore my skinny jeans from Her Bench, printed haltered top from Details Trading (which I got as one of my prizes for being featured in GOOD HOUSEKEEPING Magazine year 2003). I dolled it up with a silk belt (which I got from a bridesmaid's dress I wore last year), my high-heeled pumps from People are People and my garnet jewelry set from Bohemian Nation.
