I had my hair, makeup, and getup done by freelance makeup artist Net Bautista last weekend. She's a very good friend of mine and it was only at the start of this year that I discovered how passionate she really is about makeup. She's been doing freelance makeup gigs for half a year now and I was just so lucky to finally book an appointment with her. She did several looks on my face which you can read about here:

On this post, I'd like to share with you the way Net Bautista styled not just my hair (I got to wear big curly ones!), but my attires for that day as well --- two simple and casual ensembles. I am in the process of choosing which ones I really like for framing and stuff. Anyway, below are my favorite shots taken by my hubby, Peter Juan.
My husband, though not a professional photographer, really has a good eye for getting the wonderful details and angles. I think I looked really pretty on this photo above plus the overall effect of the pose can really catch a person's attention. Awesome!
The ruffled red blouse above is from Landmark. It's new and I never realized that it can go really well with a brown, layered, lace mini skirt (bought from SM Department store years ago). If I were still going to the office, this could easily be one of my most used ensembles. Net wanted me to use my wide golden belt from YRYS and I thought my golden pumps from People are People really matched well with it. Surprisingly, the whole getup made me look a bit slimmer too despite the clothes' puffiness. What do you think?
This gray v-neck apparel with layered pockets and asymmetrical hemline is identical with the hot pink dress I wore sometime ago. But this time, Net had me wear the same black leather buttoned and buckled belt from People are People the other way around. I then used my Charles and Keith 4-inch, open-toed, strappy heels to complete the whole look.
